Mr. Angad Agarwal who is a lung cancer patient never suspected that a cough would be a sign of lung cancer. Four years ago, he developed a cough that won’t go away quickly. He also noticed that he had trouble while climbing short inclines, leaving him breathless. When his cough grew worse, and he became ill with an infection, he thought it was only the flu.

“The doctor listened to my lungs, and he didn’t liked what he heard. He immediately sent me for an MRI of my chest,” Angad said. After MRI, Angad had a PET scan (it helps physicians to detect cancer, and evaluate the level of disease, select the most appropriate treatments, determine if the therapy is working, and detect any recurrent tumors). The doctor observed that this was more than a respiratory infection after the PET scan and that he had lung cancer.
