The count of people diagnosed with tumors, especially malignant ones, is constantly increasing. There is also a rise in the mortality rate due to delayed diagnosis and inappropriate treatment. Hence, early and proper diagnosis is very important.

Early detection of cancer largely increases the chances for a successful treatment. There are majorly two main segments of early detection of cancer:

-Education to promote early diagnosis

-Screening

Recognizing the possible warning signs of cancer and taking effective and immediate actions can lead to early diagnosis. The best cancer hospitals in India say that increased awareness of the possible warning signs of cancer, among physicians, nurses, and other health care providers as well as the general public can have a huge impact on the disease. Some early signs of cancer are lumps, sore that fail to heal, abnormal bleeding, indigestion, and chronic abnormal voice changes. Early screening is particularly relevant for cancers of the breast, cervix, mouth, colon, rectum, and skin.

Why are some cancers diagnosed late?

There are a number of reasons for delays in cancer diagnosis for example:

-No or low awareness of cancer symptoms can make people sidecast cancer signs or that they should visit the doctor.
-Some people might put off seeing a specialist for reasons like being worried about what they might find.
-There can be delays in GPs referring patients on for tests or treatment.
-Delays can sometimes happen in getting an appointment at the hospital.
-Lack of confidence in the healthcare system.

There are huge challenges in prevention, early diagnosis, and cancer treatment. The need for promising and well-documented cancer care and https://www.cancerhealercenter.comhttps://www.cancerhealercenter.com have increased by the rise predicted in the annual number of cancers. We are therefore also facing a major need for research in survivorship, basic and specialised palliative cancer care.

But remember, when it comes to your health, you are in-charge. If you do spot something unusual, tell your health specialist. It might not be cancer – but if it is, finding it early can make a real difference. But if the cancer spreads, effective cancer treatment becomes much more difficult, and generally a person’s chances of survival are much lower.
