Awareness is better than Cure
This was the first event of Celebrate Life hosted by Dr Deepica Krishna and Dr Tarang Krishna. The concept of the evening was “Awareness is better than Cure”. Dr. Tarang Krishna hosted an open questionnaire round wherein the guests were asked questions about cancer, after which he answered various questions about cancer from the audience. The main guests of the event were Mrs. Sharmila Tagore and Mrs. Soha Ali Khan.
Dr Deepica Krishna spoke at the event “Celebrate Life is all about awareness, being aware of yourself, your surroundings and your mental and physical self. We celebrate so many occasions around the year, but not many of us celebrate the festival called `life'. That is exactly what we are here to do tonight”.
The event was also attended by various other celebrities - Upen Patel, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Arjun Bijlani, Promila Bhari, Parull Mahaajan, Jai Madaan, Preeti Ghai, Neelam Pratap Rudy, Ratan kaul and Leher Sethi.
