About the Doctor
Dr. Deepica Krishna is a woman with an admirable entrepreneurial spirit with an incessant desire to spread cancer awareness. She is a dynamic personality who does not follow the crowd. She has earned recognition worldwide for her immense contributions to the society and is looked upon for inspiration and guidance from many in the younger generation.
Born to doctor parents in the city of Joy, Dr. Deepica believes in educating her patients as well. She holds specialization in Nutrition, lifestyle modifications as well as Functional medicine.
An ideal wife and a mother of two boys, Dr. Deepica handles the work life balance very well. She devotes time to her professional life but at the same she also makes sure to take care of her family.
Conceptualization of Celebrate Life
After marriage she was exposed to the miserable condition of the cancer patients who used to come for treatment at Dr. Krishna’s Cancer Healer Center. She observed that the cancer patients not only go through physical suffering but they also go through a mental battle which is very exhausting. She wanted to bring about a change where the patients are not depressed all the time and are of a stable mental setup. Being a doctor and sensitive to the suffering of others, she became more committed to do something for the cancer patients. This motivated her to start “Celebrate Life”, an endeavor which was meant to spread cancer awareness to the common masses and also to spread the message that we should try to be happy no matter what the situation”.
Dr Deepica is of the view that this life is not meant to be wasted but to be celebrated. She encourages everyone to live in the present and add life in our days not add days in our lives. She has organized various events under the umbrella of Celebrate Life and is continuously working towards her goals.
An exceptional Doctor
Dr Deepica started practicing medicine in 2002 and she specializes in the treatment of gynaecological cancers. With an experience of over 15 years, Dr Deepica has treated various patients including various celebrities.
A Radical Thinker
A promoter of holistic health, Dr. Deepica believes that integrative health holds the future. According to her, a combination of right diet, herbal supplements and lifestyle modifications is crucial for attaining a healthy body. Even patients suffering from dreadful disease like cancer can come out of it by following diet and lifestyle modifications.
In order to guide her patients in this regard, Dr. Deepica is starting her new venture in the arena of health and nutrition which will be launched very soon. She envisions the secure and healthy future for her patients. A compassionate doctor like her is an inspiration for our generation who impart health not just by giving medicines but by providing guidance in every sphere.
Awards
Dr Deepica has been conferred with many awards in her splendid career. She has received the Samaaj Rattan Samaan in 2011, the prestigious "Jugal Kishore award" in the year 2013 by Govt. of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi. She was honoured with the "SAVVY Woman Achiever Award 2016" award by Magna Group. She was also awarded with the Asian Leaders Pride woman of the year 2017 award.
In spite of the fame accorded to her, Dr Deepica is a much grounded person with a simplistic approach. Her parents are her ideals whom she follows at every step. She feels that it is her moral responsibility as a doctor and as a social worker to uplift the society as a whole. She is high in spirits and is continuously working for the betterment of the society.
