New Year New Beginning!

The year 2020 was a challenging one for all of us. Everyone had to go through a lot of difficulties in their own way, be it children or adults. It was even more difficult for those who were dealing with cancer themselves or seeing a loved one go through it. But even hardships in life can have a positive impact on us.

New Year is around the corner and there is a happy vibe all over the place. Let us take a moment and appreciate the goodness around us and also focus on the morals or lessons that this past year has taught us.

Light always follows darkness

Whenever we are confronted with a stringent situation in life, we often feel as if it is the end of the world. But life is never unfair, the most difficult circumstances are followed by happiness and cheer always. If you are dealing with cancer either directly or indirectly and life seems tough, then do not worry, better days will follow for sure!

Change is always constant

Life is not simple; it will always throw challenges at us in some form or the other. The circumstances around us are bound to change, they would never remain constant. We have to learn to evolve ourselves to these changing circumstances.

 Conquer our minds

The limits of our accomplishments are in our minds. If we set our mind free, we can accomplish much more. It is only when we imagine to be defeated by cancer that we feel helpless. The day you decide to fight against it, you will be unstoppable.

Always take a pause and improvise

Whenever we feel that our life is not going in the right direction, we should always take a pause, analyse and then act. Even with cancer, we should never panic and make hasty decisions. We should always make effort to learn about all possibilities and take a well informed decision.

We realise our own strength

It may seem overwhelming to be in the midst of darkness initially but when we gradually realise that we have no option but to fight then we are able to find a way out. In this process, we unfold a new aspect of our personality that was unknown to us till now. 

Be proactive about your health

This entire year has gone by in an effort to save ourselves from an infectious disease and we have realised that a strong immune system is a prerequisite to save ourselves from external influences. It is high time that we take steps to care of our own and our family’s health and remain safe from diseases.

Life is not just about surviving, in fact it is about confronting the new situations or problems that arise before us. Life is about holding up our head high and being able to face anything what life has to offer.

This is exactly how a cancer patient beats the most dreaded disease. When someone believes that they can overcome cancer, that is when they are actually able to do it.

This new year, let us mark the beginning of new hope and new possibilities.
